The main characters in Boy of The Painted Cave are Tao, Ram, Volt, and Graybeard. The book by Justin Denzel is 158 pages long, a very short book and every bit of it is action packed. The book is based in the early man times. Tao wants to be a cave painter so Graybeard the shaman teaches him. He also meets Ram( a wolf dog) and Volt, the evil leader does not like Ram.
One of the main settings in the book is the Slough. It is forbidden by the hunters. But Tao still decides to go in any way and finds a beautiful place.He wouldn't meet Graybeard, he wouldn't be brave to go to the river .

Point Blank a 274 pg. "fiction" story by Anthony Horowitz is an action packed thriller, with each page drawing you in more and more. it is a great young adult book and paints a good clear picture in your head. this is an action packed book and I reccommed it to every boy and girl in the world.

Stormbreaker by Anthony Horowitz has 234 pages of actions. The main characters in Stormbreaker are Alex Rider, Herode Sayle. Alex Rider is a school boy who gets forced into being a spy by Alan Blunt and the rest of M16 (a spy unit) to investigate his uncle's death and Herode Sayle's factory. He figures out that the computers (Stormbreakers) have a medical virus hidden in it that will spray when the prime minister presses a button and England will fall apart. Alex stops it by shooting a gun in the room were the prime minister would press the button and also shoots Herode in the arm. The main conflict in Stormbreaker is man vs. man because Alan Blunt forced Alex to be a spy when he didn’t want to.
